Notes

Sends an HTTP request to the URL specified. The request contains information about the email being processed in XML format.

Macros are expanded in the URL.

- This functionality is only available under Windows NT 4, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. On Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows Me this node is ignored.

- This feature is under development. At this time minimal information from the email is included in the XML data and the information returned by the HTTP request is not used in any way. One useful way to utilize this feature is to perform automated processing on emails using scripted server-side code in the URL the request is sent to.

Future Enhancements:

- Fully transform the email into XML.

- Implement within rules to permit scripted extensions to the content filter.

- Implement alternate code for Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows Me.
